DESCRIPTION:This class is required for first time Annie Oakley participants.  You can bring your own eye and ear protection\, or we can provide it to you for a small donation. \nWe ask that for this class you leave your personal weapon at home if you have one.  Students are not allowed to have personal weapons or live ammunition in the classroom.\nThe classroom session is from 6:30 p.m. to about 7:45 p.m.  After class\, we take you out on the range where we walk you through how to use one of our guns.  Be sure you are wearing weather appropriate clothing\, as well as clothing appropriate for the gun range.  We recommend that you wear closed-toed shoes (flip flops are not recommended)\, and make sure the neckline on your top is high enough that hot shells won’t go down the front of your shirt (hot metal can burn you – especially when it gets caught in your clothing).  The first time you attend our class you will be trained on our guns.  When you come back for the next session you can bring your own weapon and ammunition. \nTo sign up\, go to the Annie Oakley Womens Program Sign Up form\, read through all of the information\, and complete the form.  You will receive a verification to your e-mail once you submit the form. \nSign Up

We recommend that you wear closed-toed shoes (flip flops are not recommended)\, and make sure the neckline on your top is high enough that hot shells won’t go down the front of your shirt (hot metal can burn you – especially when it gets caught in your clothing).  You can bring your own firearms and ammunition\, or you can continue using the firearms provided by the program.  Once you’ve used up your punchcard that gives you a bag of ammunition for every “punch”\, you can continue using the program’s firearms but must bring your own ammunition (.22LR).

DESCRIPTION:Try Before You Buy will be on the 100 yard range to let our ladies try out different handguns.  Guns will not be sold that evening – purchases can be coordinated with the vendor at their place of business.  Please let us know if you plan on attending so they can have an estimate of how much ammunition to bring.  All participants are required to bring their Annie Oakley cards to show they have already participated in our safety class.

SUMMARY:Annie Oakley - Returning Student Range Time
DESCRIPTION:All participants in the Returning Student Range Time must first take the Safety Class.  Once you have taken the safety class and have a card confirming your participation\, you can attend the Returning Student Rage Time or any other Special Programs offered by Annie Oakley. \nFor returning students\, please be sure to be at the range by 6:45 p.m.  This will ensure the best possibility of our having a table and target available.  Shooting starts promptly at 7:00 p.m.\, and we are unable to call a “ceasefire” to set up tables and/or targets for students that arrive after 7:00 p.m.  Be sure you are wearing weather appropriate clothing\, as well as clothing appropriate for the gun range. We recommend that you wear closed-toed shoes (flip flops are not recommended)\, and make sure the neckline on your top is high enough that hot shells won’t go down the front of your shirt (hot metal can burn you – especially when it gets caught in your clothing).  You can bring your own firearms and ammunition\, or you can continue using the firearms provided by the program.  Once you’ve used up your punchcard that gives you a bag of ammunition for every “punch”\, you can continue using the program’s firearms but must bring your own ammunition (.22LR).

DESCRIPTION:This class is required for first time Annie Oakley participants.  You can bring your own eye and ear protection\, or we can provide it to you for a small donation. \nWe ask that for this class you leave your personal weapon at home if you have one.  Students are not allowed to have personal weapons or live ammunition in the classroom.\nThe classroom session is from 6:30 p.m. to about 7:45 p.m.  After class\, we take you out on the range where we walk you through how to use one of our guns.  Be sure you are wearing weather appropriate clothing\, as well as clothing appropriate for the gun range.  We recommend that you wear closed-toed shoes (flip flops are not recommended)\, and make sure the neckline on your top is high enough that hot shells won’t go down the front of your shirt (hot metal can burn you – especially when it gets caught in your clothing).  The first time you attend our class you will be trained on our guns.  When you come back for the next session you can bring your own weapon and ammunition. \nTo sign up\, go to the Annie Oakley Womens Program Sign Up form\, read through all of the information\, and complete the form.  You will receive a verification to your e-mail once you submit the form. \nSign Up
